Delivery in stages with a review at each one. You see working output early rather than a single reveal at the end.
Performance is reviewed against the target that was agreed, and the plan is revised on evidence rather than instinct.
References can be provided directly during a conversation, where the client has agreed to it. That is generally more useful than a published page, because you can ask them the questions you actually care about.
